Description
Soothing, fragrant, sophisticated and floral lavender is subtly tempered by crisp, refreshing and menthol rich peppermint. The simplicity of this arrangement belies the product of the two. A unique partnership in perfect balance. This restorative blend has meditative qualities to help ease symptoms of stress and anxiety - the calming lavender and clarifying mint bring the body back into harmony.
Our peppermint is sourced from the northwestern USA where the pure, dewy mountain air of the spring and early summer growing season produces some of the highest volatile oil counts of any member of the mint family. Peppermint is commonly brewed as an herbal tea and enjoyed after a meal, as the oils are thought to help stimulate digestion. Herbalists offer peppermint as a digestive aid to help ease symptoms of heartburn, bloating, stomachache, and nausea. Peppermint oil is also one of the primary essential oils used to treat headaches and ease tension in the body. The wellness qualities paired with the sharp, minty character and sweet soothing flavor are why we chose peppermint for the base of this blend.
Lavender is a delicate flower that makes a healthful and soothing cup of herbal tea. You often see lavender oil used in massage therapy and it is put into bath oils, lotions, and soap. This is because lavender is popularly used to bring peace and tranquility to the mind, body, and spirit. Herbalists recommend lavender to treat migraines, ease digestive issues, calm nerves, and induce sleep. A cup of lavender tea has deep restorative qualities to promote relaxation and balance. This herbal soother offers layers of depth and delicate floral notes that pair wonderfully with the cooling character of sweet mint.
