Texas BBQ Spiked Sweet Tea

This Hard Texas Iced Tea recipe combines the bold flavors of Organic Texas Iced Tea Blend with the kick of vodka, making it the ultimate summer beverage. Sweet, tangy, and perfectly boozy, it’s easy to prepare and guaranteed to impress your guests. Ingredients:

  • 1 liter (4 cups) cold water
  • 85 ml (1/3 cup) Organic Texas Iced Tea Blend
  • Optional: Lemon slices (1/2 lemon, sliced)
  • 65 ml (1/4 cup) sugar
  • 250 ml (1 cup) vodka
  • Ice cubes (enough to fill a 2-liter pitcher)

Instructions:

  1. Bring the water to a hard boil in a large pot.
  2. Remove the pot from heat and add the Organic Texas Iced Tea Blend. Add lemon slices if desired.
  3. Let the tea steep for 6 minutes, then strain or remove the tea leaves.
  4. Stir in the sugar until dissolved. Add the vodka and mix well.
  5. Fill a 2-liter (6-cup) pitcher with ice cubes.
  6. Slowly pour the tea over the ice, then refrigerate for about 1 hour.
  7. Pour into a glass, garnish with a lemon slice if desired, and enjoy responsibly!
