Texas BBQ Spiked Sweet Tea

For anyone who loves chilling out in their backyard and barbequing for their friends and family, there is nothing better than a hard punching iced tea to cool off and stay refreshed.  Here's a recipe that's tried, tested and true.

  • Bring 1 liter (4 cups) of cold water to a hard boil
  • Once boiling remove from heat
  • Add 85 ml (1/3 cup) of Organic Texas Iced Tea Blend
  • Optional add Lemon Pieces 1/2 Cut in amount desired
  • Let steep for 6 minutes, no longer and remove the tea from the water
  • Add 65 ml (1/4 cup) of sugar
  • Add 250 ml (1 cup) of your favorite vodka and mix
  • Fill a 2 liter (6 cup) pitcher with ice
  • Slowly pour the tea over the ice then put in the refrigerator for about an hour
  • Pour yourself a glass and enjoy
